Board of Directors
As a long time member and contributor to the CRSA platform I feel like we have a home where like minded colleagues share in my passion for the robotics platform as it is applied to general surgical fields. Prior to doing complex surgery I routinely turn to the CRSA website to watch other experts performing the difficult surgeries. Ultimately my patients benefit when I am a better, more confident and safer surgeon. Thank you CRSA members and contributors.
CRSA and its website has been a constant source of learning and inspiration for us right from the starting of our career in Robotic Surgery. Our team has been associated with CRSA right from inception and we have been trained by Prof. Giulianotti in the nuances of robotic surgery. By being in touch with the meetings of CRSA and videos on the website, we have been able to develop our robotic surgery program and continuously improve with time. It provided us with an opportunity to share our surgical videos with the fraternity and learn from the feedback. By attending annual meetings of CRSA, we have been made wiser and our horizon of thinking has expanded with every conference. The team and hard work put into the website of CRSA makes it the best site to see and share robotic surgery videos, and to learn and continually update oneself. By its multidisciplinary nature, CRSA leads to transfer of knowledge and skills of robotic surgery across medical streams. CRSA has had a big role in making robotic surgery a reality in India by training various surgeons and updating their skillset as they ventured into this field. I strongly recommend all the young surgeons in the field of robotic surgery to join CRSA and take benefit of its educational events and surgical videos. It provides for a great educational platform on which surgeons across specialities can network and learn from each other. I also take this opportunity to congratulate the team CRSA for its commendable achievements and the immense contribution made in the development of surgical discipline.
I am pleased to be part of a surgical association that has been able in a short period of time
to create one of the largest and more active forums in surgery.
CRSA facilitates the professional contact and the improvement of the practical knowledge
among professionals who develop one of the most innovative and attractive areas in general surgery: the robotic surgery.
CRSA It is one of the most clear examples of the continuous surgical training that exists today in the medical world.
It expresses a new and modern concept of surgical experiences trasmission that allows to respond to the needs of the surgeon of the 21st century in an area such as surgery Robotics, where are associated dynamism and innovation.
CRSA is a vibrant society that has changed the paradigm of what minimally invasive surgeons can do to communicate and improve their effectiveness in producing excellent patients outcome. I found the web site extremely user friendly and helpful in terms of what it offers. There are hundreds of very well executed videos available for review. Many virtual as well as real time courses advertisement; in addition to that, it is an amazing source of information for surgeons with different degree of expertise.
Robotic surgery is a constantly evolving field, CRSA website is an invaluable tool to stay up to date. The platform is easily navigable and is very practical. Information shared on the website includes basic procedures and more complex ones making the site of unique interest for beginners and for expert robotic surgeons. The possibility to assist to entire procedures during the live events is a formidable educational opportunity to learn from the masters without the need to travel. It's amazing to see how such a large group of surgeons from all over the world is open to share their experiences and work as a group to improve the quality of care and the quality of Surgery.
I really thanks CRSA for the effort in tutoring and teaching by sharing surgical techniques and focusing medical updates on its institutional video portals. The full length videos availability of the most challenging miniinvasive operations and the streaming of important live OR events have an incomparable teaching value above all for surgeons in training. I found the video portal tools of CRSA and CVU really easy to use and without technical bugs.
CRSA is the largest community of robotic surgeons in the world.
As such, the contribution of each professional to the website has produced the largest library of thoughts, knowledge and experiences in this field.
This is reflected by the material available on the website which includes courses, conferences, and videos.
The array of videos varies from the most basic to the most complex robotic procedure, making it suitable for the beginner robotic surgeon as well as the expert one. The commented videos are an invaluable resource towards surgeons who approach the robotic platform and are in need of guidance. The live surgery broadcast on the website, is the latest tool to understand all the technicalities and potential problems in robotic surgery, and, with the opportunity to interact with the operating surgeon, it really makes you feel involved directly in the procedure.
At the CRSA website, everyone's contribution is welcome and it is exciting to participate to the ongoing discussion in this field, where new technology and surgical advances take place with unprecedented speed.
I had the opportunity to join CRSA since its beginning. During the congresses, courses and live sessions I met a lot of people to share experiences and discuss clinical and technical issues. Meetings are always familiar and many skilled surgeons join us every year contributing to the grow of the society.
The video database in the CRSA is becoming a "virtual updated textbook" of robotic surgery, very useful for a rapid consultation the days before embarking in a difficult case.
In view of rapid developments in robotic surgery, it is a significant point for robotic surgeons to stay up to date. CRSA enables either experienced or beginner surgeons to share and improve their experiences online. I appreciate CRSA team for carefully selected rich content and more than 800 high-quality videos contributing innovative projects in robotic surgery. It is a great opportunity for robotic surgeons to learn good techniques from each other. Live streamed events and upcoming meetings are really exciting. I am pleased to participate in this community and consider CRSA fills an important gap in continuous communication between surgeons.
CRSA website is a wonderfull way to learn surgical tricks, point of views, surgical approaches and different ways to perform the same procedure! Amazing!
I had the privilege to watch and participate in the Clinical Robotic Surgery Association far since its birth. I find the concept of the association aiming right to the point of the robotic surgical art and I am glad to see that there are thousands of surgeons of all specialties that agree with me. My entire team, in Athens Medical Center, has been using the CRSA video portal almost on a daily basis, both for educative as well as demonstrative purposes. The material is high-quality both in surgical skills as well as video format. It has already become one of the richest surgical video library readily available for all members. Live streamed events are always more exciting to follow and compare to our everyday clinical practice. CRSA meetings have grown strong and will keep going that way thanks to Professor Giulianotti's strong personal effort and belief in it, as well as its highly respected experts from all over the world. I am looking forward to all events related to CRSA along with the future of robotic surgery.
As a general surgeon especially interested in new technology and trained in minimally invasive procedures, I have to say that being a member of the CRSA community has open many possibilities, notably to meet robotic experts and pioneers. I strongly think that CRSA website is the ideal platform to exchange ideas through the forum. In addition, this website provides a video portal that allows learning new procedures, performed by advanced and recognized robotic surgeons. This association clearly helps to collaborate with other robotic surgeons all around the world and to initiate new and fascinating research programs.
Minimally invasive surgery has revolutionized all surgical fields and it's still changing the way of imagining surgery: in particular, robotics gives us the opportunity to offer to patients new approaches and new solutions facing "old" diseases, for those, in the past, we believed only the open surgery could be the way of cure. The new generations of surgeons must be able to handle minimally invasive surgery and robotics and CRSA, Clinical Robotic Surgery Association, offers the opportunity to share the most advanced knowledge in the promising field of minimally invasive approaches, to give patients the best surgical care.
aving the opportunity to share the experience from international surgeons has an incredible value for our clinical and research practices.
The CRSA website allows surgeons to be connected and integrated allowing to share experiences in difficlut cases.
CRSA has more than 800 videos about diverse robotic procedures, I dont know of any other portal so complete and diverse.
Direct communication with other robotic surgeons dealing with similar problems is a powerful advantage of the portal as well.
For any robotic surgeon , experienced or begginer CRSA portal gives extensive material , comments and opinions that improve their clinical experience.
CRSA website is also an important communication channel to be informed about upcoming meetings, trainig courses and news of the robotic world.
I highly recommend the CRSA website to any surgeon around the world who wants to start a robotic practice.
The reason why CRSA video portal is better than previous experiences is that is not a website linked to a Congress, but a one-year long Congress available on-line day-by-day: the scientific fervor we have once per year sharing our results lives in each video at CRSA… and beyond the Congress paradigm, it doesn’t matter if you are a Professor or a neophyte, among more than 800 contributions there is space for your work, if deserves.
Robotic surgery and its totally virtual dimension are the best candidates to be spread by videos, allowing a true professional growth even in regions with a very low robot availability. So, I supported CRSA from the very beginning with my small contribution, having in excange a much greater support.
It is a great idea and effort for the establishment of the CRSA website.
Although maintenance work is always a difficult task in every website, the team is doing a good job on this. Contents in the website are invaluable. The web site is a good platform for knowledge exchange, and experience sharing among surgeons in a dynamic, interactive way. It is beneficial to surgeons with various experiences.
The diverse videos provided on the CRSA website opens new vistas to surgeons all over the globe enabling them to watch robotic surgeries methods and techniques performed in other parts of the world at the click of a button.
It is indeed a great learning opportunity and also a modality for a surgeon to share his work with the masters and novices in the field and to create awareness about the various centers of excellence available across the globe.
As a colorectal surgeon interested in minimally invasive procedures and new technology, I have gained great benefits from being a member of the CRSA community.
CRSA is the ideal forum to exchange ideas, learn new procedures and get in touch with other robotic surgeons around the world.
I am so impressed that Clinical Robotic Surgery Association (CRSA) has built an amazing global platform for seamless sharing of knowledge and experience among robotic surgeons. Through accessing the resourceful video portal which contains over 800 worldwide robotic surgery videos in various categories of general surgery, the innovative robotic techniques can be disseminated to the members promoting the best practice of robotic surgery. In addition, the Clinical Virtual University (CVU) is an innovative educational hub to connect surgeons of different time zones together for real-time live surgery demonstration and training of robotic surgery skills. I truly believe that members of CRSA can acquire vividly the advanced robotic surgical techniques and benefit our patients as a result.
CRSA is a leading Society in the field of robotic surgery and I have embraced this society since its foundation. I appreciate the educational and clinical aspects of CRSA. From an educational point of view the opportunity to share with the experts the experience in robotics is a great help, in particular for surgeons at the beginning of their experience in this technique. The video portal is the largest available on the web, with the opportunity to view complete long-duration operations, lessons from international courses and from the annual congress. Furthermore CRSA play a central role to certificate the expertise of robotic surgeons and to deliver correct indications to perform robotic surgery safely and successfully. I am happy and proud to support CRSA as member of the executive board and as “minimally-invasive surgeon”.
CRSA clearly distinguishes itself from other associations operating in the same field thank to its broadly international and clinically oriented nature.
The CRSA represents a common ground where pioneers of robotic surgery coming from various subspecialties work side by side with young, ambitious and promising robotic surgeons. This synergism has created a dynamic and exciting surgical community where masters of robotic surgery share on a daily basis their terrific experience in the operative theater with innovative ideas brought in by young, brilliant individuals that have the potential to be the next generation of robotic surgery innovators.
The website of the association is clearly in line with these traits as it offers a tremendous amount (835 and the number increases each month) of advanced robotic surgery videos presented in a modern looking and easy to navigate internet frame.
Both general members and experts are actively involved with and periodically provide feedback for important initiatives promoted by the association, as they recently did to support the development of guidelines for robotic surgery training and credentialing.
CRSA represents for me the ideal place to cultivate and share my passion for robotic surgery and innovation and to provide my contribution for the advancement of the field and therefore I strongly and unconditionally support this association.
