SUMMARY
Robotic system represents an evolution of traditional videothoracoscopic approach. The advantages of robotic approach including the improved ergonomics of instruments and the telescopic view of the surgical field, render the minimally invasive surgery much easier than traditional vats with a shorter learning curve for major lung resections.
