A robotic right colectomy was performed in order to remove a right mesocolonic recurrence from a renal cell carcinoma, which was previously treated with a laparoscopic polar partial nephrectomy. Robotics allowed an accurate dissection through the scar tissue due to the previous surgery and permitted the removal of the tumoral lesion en bloc with right colon. We performed a full robotic right colectomy with an intracorporeal ileotransverse side-to-side mechanical anastomosis.
