Laparoscopic Distal Pancreatectomy: Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor in Tuberous Sclerosis

A case of pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm in a patient with tuberous sclerosis is described. The patient was a 12-year-old man. A 2.3 cm ? 2 cm solid tumor in the tail of the pancreas was discovered during a MRI. A distal pancreatectomy was performed.
