She later pursued a minimally invasive fellowship at the University of California in San Diego and held a position at Intuitive Surgical Inc. researching and developing robotic surgery.
Her clinical interests include bariatric robotic surgery, especially the introduction of new robotic technologies and data analytics to her field. Her research focuses on new applications of robotic surgery and their potential impact on clinical and economic outcomes.
