Dr. Kim graduated from medical school at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he also completed his residency. In addition to his Director responsibilities, he currently has a surgical practice at Celebration Health with clinical interests in bariatrics, and general surgery. He is performing total robotic gastric bypass and total robotic gastric bypass revisions.
Dr. Kim is on the editorial board of the Journal of Robotic Surgery.
He has a special interest in single incision sleeve gastrectomies and gastric bands.
