SUMMARY
Robotic assisted minimally invasive laparoscopic Niessen Fundoplication for gastro-esophageal reflux disease ( GERD ). The Gastric fundus is fold around the esophagus in order to create a valve mechanism that prevents the gastric contents to go up in the esophagus. The robotic system allows a precise dissection of the gastro-esophageal junction and reduces the need to fully mobilize the stomach reducing the incidence of slipped Nissen and other complication.
