<p>SUMMARY:This video depicts repair of Morgagni diaphragmmatic hernia using the Da Vinci Si High Definition Surgical System (commonly known as Surgical Robot). This is a rare hernia in which there is anterior substernal diphragmmatic defect. This is repaired by non-absorbable sutures followed by prosthetic reinforcement by a tissue separating mesh. This video shows the application of robotic technology to this disease and explains the port position, OR setup and the differences as compared to conventional laparoscopy.</p>
